Queuing System

Queuing systems ensure that hardware and software resources are explicitly allocated to individual jobs and that the workload is ideally distributed among the available resources. If you have several computing jobs or wish to start them at a particular time, these are usually placed in the job scheduler’s queue.

CPU 24/7 uses Queuing Systems only for client-specific environments. So take care: some other providers offer special terms for using a global, non-exclusive queue. This is the case if a number of clients have to simultaneously share a computer pool or infrastructure, and it is not always clear how jobs are prioritised in the queue, when the job starts or what happens if it is interrupted, or if a security-critical situation arises.
