CPU 24/7 and COMSOL sign hosting partnership agreement

Potsdam, February 2nd 2016

CPU 24/7, specialist in high-performance computing (HPC) on demand and leading global provider of “CAE as a service” solutions for applications with regard to fluid dynamics, structural mechanics and multiphysics, extends its efficient and high-performance software portfolio with COMSOL products. Both companies have now signed a cooperation agreement, which turns CPU 24/7 into an official hosting partner of the renowned software developer COMSOL. As a result, the latest COMSOL product range is available to all customers of the CAE as a Service provider CPU 24/7 with immediate effect.

COMSOL Multiphysics®

The COMSOL flagship product COMSOL Multiphysics® is an interactive software environment for simulating physical processes that can be described by differential equations. This software expands very crucially the possibilities for modelling and simulation of scientific and technical problems. CPU 24/7 customers from science, industry and research now enjoy another bestin-class application for the modelling of single or multiple physical phenomena. With the fully integrated Application Builder, any COMSOL Multiphysics model can easily be turned into an application that can be used via COMSOL Server™ at different stages of the product development process.

With COMSOL Multiphysics® and the COMSOL Server™, CPU 24/7 enlarges its product portfolio to an even wider range of specialized application modules, among other things for chemical process engineering, earth sciences, electromagnetics, heat transfer, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) or structural mechanics applications. COMSOL products are available for the Windows, Linux, Solaris, and Macintosh operating systems.
